The universe of the franchise as a whole is apparently not only going to be preserved, but this game will also add new components to it too, aiming to make the experience even more diverse and unique. We don’t know what kinds of new elements the designers are going to add, but the “Mass Effect” universe certainly has many different possibilities for that.
There is still some time left to go before we see the actual game on the market, so we expect that more will happen in its development and there will be more news about it in the near future. The developers have been relatively open about their development progress.
BioWare definitely have a good point in sharing more about their work on the game too, as there is a lot of attention towards it from the community right now, and many people are wondering what they are going to get from it.
The title has a lot to make up for since the last installment in the franchise, but as long as the developers put enough effort into it and polish it appropriately on all sides, we know that they can make it work and deliver something good that their fans are going to enjoy, as they have proven that countless times already before.
