Coelen added that the chosen candidates go through several background checks and psychological evaluations to ensure that they are capable of handling the stress of being part of the show.
Coelen admitted however that since it is a reality TV series, they could not guarantee that all of the three couples will end up happily ever after because the pairing was based on a high level of research to ensure that each cast is presented with the best candidate.
He also added that they have been very transparent right from the start of the selection process, making sure that each of the contestants was made aware of the repercussions and implications of marrying a complete stranger.
