Macaulay Culkin Mentioned in Big Sean’s Rap on Tori Kelly’s New Single, And More

Collaboration among music artists appears to be the way to go for the current generation. While each artist has his or her own unique talent and skills set, combining it with others often result to an even better and entirely new music.

Music artist Tori Kelly has been focusing on remixes lately. She has just put a spin on her new single titled “Hollow” in collaboration with rapper Big Sean, the former boyfriend of Ariana Grande.

Big Sean lends a rap verse to the heartfelt track of Tori, which she says is her love song to God because it connected her and her faith, details MTV.

The rapper comes into the song where he recited verses about trying to fill the void that Tori seems to be looking for. Big Sean even made references to Macaulay Culkin in the 1990 movie “Home Alone,” as well as sippy cups, karaoke nights, and about crying enough tears to fill up the Atlantic Ocean.

One of the phrases in Big Sean’s wrap is that there is no fun being home alone because people have learned that from Macaulay Culkin.

Apparently, Macaulay Culkin and his classic movie “Home Alone” still rings a bell even to young artists who probably were just toddlers then when the movie was shown. In fact, back in 1990, Big Sean would have just been two years old.

Coming to New York in disguise

Meanwhile, Macaulay Culkin was spotted at the New York ComicCon 2015 last month looking like it was not him at all as he was wearing a long hair and sported a beardy look.

The Metro of UK actually placed Macaulay to resemble five different celebrities, so much so that the outlet even alluded that the former child actor came to the New York ComicCon 2015 in disguise.

The five celebrities whom Macaulay resembled while in New York were Kid Rock, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Thor, wrestler Triple H, or Chad Kroeger.

Observers even thought that Macaulay may be testing out a genius disguise by emulating several stars so no one would actually know who he is.

At the New York ComicCon 2015, he talked about Adult Swim, although it remains unclear what upcoming project he has with the network.

Most iconic moment

This year marks the 25th year of the classic “Home Alone” movie featuring then 10-year-old Macaulay Culkin, playing the role of eight-year-old Kevin McCallister, The film is set to be re-released to theaters this month.

In order to celebrate the history and pay tribute to the success of the movie, Fathom Events and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release “Home Alone” again in select theaters in the US on November 8 and November 11.

This will give a number of American families, particularly those who were still kids back then and are now with their own family, to make a trip down memory lane while enjoying the movie with their kids, who will be seeing it for the first time in cinemas.

While there are plenty of memorable scenes in the movie, particularly during the time when Kevin was defending their house against the wet bandits Harry, played by Joe Pesci, and Marv, played by Daniel Stern, Director Chris Columbus says that Macaulay’s hands-on-face screen scream is the movie’s most iconic moment.
