While he was filming “The Last Song” in 2009, Liam began a relationship with his co-star Miley Cyrus. After three years of having an on-again, off-again relationship, Liam and Miley decided to get engaged in June 2012. They lived together in Los Angeles but ended their relationship in September 2013.
In July 2014, Liam said that he and Miley would always be the best of friends because they had an instantaneous and powerful connection.

Recently, after going again in a short-lived romantic relationship with Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger by Maria Shriver, Miley decided to come out in the open and admit to the whole world that she is a bisexual and that she is okay to having a relationship with either sex.
There are even rumors that the song “Wrecking Ball” of Miley Cyrus was actually in reference to how she felt when she and Liam broke up.
