LG G4 Offered on eBay for $499 for Unlocked Variant!

LG have come out with a pretty strong competitor in the smartphone market, going up against the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6, and their own G4 is quite the impressive device. It’s designed with a premium style in mind too, with a leather back cover and high end specifications which should satisfy the needs of even the most demanding Android users. And while the phone had a pretty heavy price tag attached to it too, those who’re interested can now get it at a more attractive price at eBay.

The popular web marketplace now offers an unlocked variant of the LG G4 for $499, brand new and complete with its full retail packaging. The set comes with a US and European adapter as well, so the phone should be usable by most people around the world. In addition, it can use the LTE bands on AT&T and T-Mobile’s networks.

Those who’re interested in getting their hands on the device at this price should look for the eBay seller named Breed, who’s currently selling the phone at the above price quite actively. The seller looks reputable with a 97.9% positive rating on eBay, so it seems to be a perfectly legitimate deal.

The only potential issue is that the phone is only available in the Gold variant for this price. The seller seems to have been selling the Metallic Gray and White versions at some point too, but they are now out of stock and there’s no information about their future availability. In addition, availability for the G4 seems to be limited as well, so interested buyers should hurry and head over to eBay as soon as possible.

The deal is quite good as the normal price of the phone is $669 from AT&T, or $599 from T-Mobile. There’s also a deal from Verizon for $549, and Spring are selling it for $600. The best deal among carriers seems to be offered by US Cellular, who’re asking for $510 – although the base price is $610 and buyers have to use a mail-in rebate to get the discount.

The phone comes with a 5.5 inch AMOLED Quad HD screen, and underneath it has a Snapdragon 808 processor with 3 GB of RAM. Its internal memory is 32 GB, expandable to 128 GB with the use of a microSD card, and the phone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop, modified by LG’s own designers with a customized interface called the LG UX 4.0. This has been a major point of attraction for some fans of the brand, as LG definitely know their job well when it comes to creative UI designs.
