In the early goings of Season 2 of “Legends of Tomorrow,” a future version of The Flash left a mysterious warning for Rip Hunter that he kept secret and away on the Waverider.
Apparently, the secret did not stay secret for long. Professor Stein learned a lot more during the seventh episode about that cryptic warning from a 2056 version of The Flash, played by Grant Gustin.
It seems that The Flash’s cryptic warning was about the Dominators which was the focus of the four-night crossover of the “Invasion” storyline.
The crossover story was a big mystery and it involved the whole gamut of time travel and the fact that it came from Barry years later. Barry’s message was eventually revealed in the crossover episode of “Legends of Tomorrow” that aired on December 1.
“Legends of Tomorrow” is basically a spin-off series of “The Flash,” which happens to be a spinoff series of “Arrow.”
The Legends came to be when Vandal Savage murders the family of Time Master Rip Hunter as he goes rogue.
The initial team of the Legends is made up of Ray Palmer a.k.a The Atom, played by Brandon Routh; Sara Lance, a.k.a. the White Canary; Martin Stein; Jefferson ‘Jax’ Jackson, Kendra Saunders a.k.a. Hawkgirl, played by Ciara Renee; Carter Hall a.k.a. Hawkman, played by Falk Hentschel; Leonard Snart a.k.a Captain Cold; and Mick Rory a.k.a. Heat Wave.
