‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Season 2 Episode 7 to See the Legends Working Together with The Flash, Supergirl, and the Green Arrow to Put an End to the Dominators

For the first time in the DC TV verse on The CW, a four-night crossover will happen next week among four TV series based on DC Comics including “The Flash,” “Supergirl,” “Arrow,” and “Legends of Tomorrow.”

Apparently, the crossover episode between the four shows will happen from November 28 beginning with the eighth episode of “The Flash” and end on December 1 with the seventh episode of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

The common title of the crossover episode in each of the four TV series is “Invasion” and since “Legends of Tomorrow” will be the final crossover night, it would see the Legends working together with The Flash, Supergirl, and Green Arrow in finally putting an end to the Dominators and their plan for the world, reports Comicbookmovie.com.

While Martin Stein, played by Victor Garber, already figured out how the Legends can terminate the Dominators, he was distracted by the aberration he created himself back in 1987.

Warning from future The Flash

In the early goings of Season 2 of “Legends of Tomorrow,” a future version of The Flash left a mysterious warning for Rip Hunter, played by Arthur Darvill, that he kept secret and away on the Waverider.

Apparently, the secret won’t stay secret for long. Professor Stein will learn a lot more during the upcoming seventh episode about that cryptic warning from a 2056 version of The Flash, played by Grant Gustin.

It is possible that The Flash’s cryptic warning was about the Dominators which shall be the focus of the four-night crossover of the “Invasion” storyline.

Sources said that it’s a big mystery and it involves the whole gamut of time travel and the fact that it comes from Barry years later up to the time when finds out. It is likely that Barry’s message will be revealed in the crossover episode of “Legends of Tomorrow” to air on December 1 on The CW.

A step ahead of the Legends

Meanwhile, there has already been a synopsis for the eighth episode of “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2 to air on The CW on December 8 and it will show that the Legion of Doom is ahead of the Legends, reports the International Business Times.

The Legends will fly straight to 1927 Chicago after detecting a new time aberration. They will quickly realize, however, that they have just been tricked by Eobard Thawne, played by Matt Letscher, Damien Darhk, played by Neal McDonough, and Legion of Doom’s newest member, Malcolm Merlyn, played by John Barrowman.

Although it is unclear why the trio lures the Legends to 1927 Chicago, the baddies’ objective definitely has something to do with stopping the new generation of time police from interfering with their selfish plans to change history.

Appropriately titled “The Chicago Way,” episode 8 will also see Jax, played by Franz Drameh, trying to convince Professor Martin Stein to share his secret with the rest of the team.

It can be recalled that back in episode 6 of “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2, Stein started to have visions of a woman he has never met before. Although the mystery lady is a complete stranger to him, Stein surprisingly confessed to Jax that he’s in love with her.

Stein and Jax then came up with a theory that the latter inadvertently altered his past when he interacted with his younger self in 1987, causing massive changes in his memories.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 2

As if Stein’s temporal dissonance isn’t interesting enough, the physicist is also taken captive in episode 8, and Sara, played by Caity Lotz, must make the tough choice of either stopping the Legion of Doom or saving Stein.

Meanwhile, Rory, played by Dominic Purcell, also gets an unexpected visitor in the upcoming episode, and the Heat Gun-wielding Legend is not sure how to handle it.

Although the episode synopsis does not specify who Rory’s visitor is, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said during a press event last month that Rory’s late partner, Leonard Snart, played by Wentworth Miller, is returning in the episode, so it won’t be a big surprise if he ends up being Rory’s unexpected guest.

“Legends of Tomorrow” is basically a spinoff series of “The Flash,” which happens to be a spinoff series of “Arrow.”

The Legends came to be when Vandal Savage murders the family of Time Master Rip Hunter as he goes rogue.

So in order to stop him, Ray Palmer a.k.a The Atom, played by Brandon Routh; Sara Lance, a.k.a. the White Canary; Martin Stein; Jefferson ‘Jax’ Jackson, played by Franz Drameh; Kendra Saunders a.k.a. Hawkgirl, played by Ciara Renee; Carter Hall a.k.a. Hawkman, played by Falk Hentschel; Leonard Snart a.k.a Captain Cold; and Mick Rory a.k.a. Heat Wave.

They discover that the Time Masters are backing Savage in his domination of the world in 2166 to facilitate a successful repulsion of a Thanagarian invasion. Due to Snart’s sacrifice, the Time Masters are destroyed.

Savage attempts to rewrite history with a temporal explosion but is killed by the team when he is rendered mortal by the same meteor he used for his scheme. With Savage dead, Kendra and Carter leave the team.

Following the demise of the Time Masters, Rip decides to take their place guarding history with Ray, Sara, Stein, Jax, and Mick.
