But for most fans, those additions are just gimmicks and fillers on top of the main core element that they truly care about – gameplay. Without solid gameplay, this game really isn’t going to see much success in the end, and while we’ve heard various claims about how this aspect of “Kingdom Hearts” is going to change for the third installment, we won’t know how well it will all work out until it’s been released.
Which, at this point, might not be anytime soon. But seeing as how most fans would apparently be happy to wait a little longer if it means perfecting the game even more, then Square Enix should definitely take their time and polish this product to perfection.
Whenever it’s released, “Kingdom Hearts 3” is going to be a huge game. Whether or not it will be a hit is a different story, but if the studio plays their cards right, that’s entirely possible.
After all, it’s the sequel to one of the most popular franchises in gaming, and it would be strange to see it suffering from a lack of popularity. There isn’t really any serious competition for a game with this kind of premise either, so it would be interesting to see how things turn out once the production has been finished and brought out to the market.
