However, the same cannot be said yet of “Kingdom Hearts 3” which is why no specific release date has been announced by Square Enix just yet although rumors have it that the game would finally come out to the gaming consoles and the PC next year.
It was actually “Final Fantasy XV” director Hajime Tabata who confirmed the so-called Square Enix rule when he said that they are allowed to announce the release date for a game once it gets to a specific stage in development.
The fact that nothing has been said about the release date of “Kingdom Hearts 3” since it was officially announced almost three years ago means that the video game’s required completion threshold has not been met yet.
Although it is not an official confirmation from Square Enix, the latest report actually puts a heavy damper on some fans’ hopes that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be available early next year. For that to be true, its completion level would have to match that of “Final Fantasy XV.”
Game director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed in a recent interview that the release date of “Kingdom Hearts 3” was moved.
Although the game is about a year away from its release, Nomura promised that it would be a whole lot better than the previous iterations of the “Kingdom Hearts” series.
