A week after his passing out in a brothel in Las Vegas, Kim Kardashian is the last of the Kardashian-Jenner bunch to show Lamar Odom her love and support after the former NBA player succumbed to mild comatose.
Just like her mom and her siblings, the reality star shared a photo on Instagram the other day and it shows a throwback photo during her wedding where she was shown with the former NBA player all smiles while dancing the night away.
Kardashian captioned the photo ‘Lammy, I’m so happy Kendall and I could make you smile today! God is good!’ which proves that Lamar’s condition is now improving and that he could already respond well. Kim has also been spotted visiting Odom at the hospital with friends and family members.
The 35-year-old former NBA player was found unconscious last week at Love Ranch brothel in Las Vegas and was rushed to a hospital where he was immediately placed on life support.
According to reports, traces of cocaine along with a herbal supplement for Viagra were found in Odom’s system. Medical reports suggest that Lamar suffered a stroke which normally happens after a drug overdose.
Speaking to Associated Press, a representative for Odom’s family said that the former NBA player had already opened his eyes last Friday and even gave a thumbs-up after doing so.
As per ESPN, Odom was already discharged from the Las Vegas Hospital and transferred to a Los Angeles rehab facility on Monday night. The former NBA star was transported via medical helicopter and was accompanied by his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.
Doctors at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas has given the go-signal for his transfer to Los Angeles so he could start his physical therapy. Doctors claim that he hasn’t had any setbacks after being able to breathe on his own and they are confident that he could already begin with his therapy.
Los Angeles Daily News reports that Odom is now at the beginning stage of his recovery. He might be already out of being comatose and is doing better, but doctors still say that it’s still a long way to go for him with regards to his full recovery.
Doctors say that Lamar will have to endure a slow recovery as there are two major areas of concern for him that doctors are checking, his lungs and kidneys, wherein he received constant treatment.
The rest of the Kardashian-Jenner bunch have been showing full support for Lamar and Khloe, who decided to stick with her ex-husband during the ordeal.
Odom’s kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr., his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, as well as his former LA Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant have been asking the public for prayers for him.
The Kardashian-Jenner sisters minus Kendall, who wasn’t able to fly out immediately because of work commitments, even put a halt to their websites to be at Odom’s side.
The pregnant Kardashian seems to have a change of heart towards her sister and her ex-husband’s relationship after the incident. In the latest episode of their E! reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” the 34-year-old reality star had an argument with her younger sister when she heard Khloe speaking with Lamar over the phone.
Kim said it made her sick to her gut that her sister is still talking to the man who hurt her so much. Khloe responded by saying that she will always love Lamar and will always be concerned with his well-being. The episode aired just days before news broke out of Lamar’s accident.
Khloe and Lamar were married in 2009 and then Kardashian filed for divorce in December 2013 although the estranged pair only signed their papers in July of this year.
