Khloe Kardashian Expands Portfolio to Fashion Wear, Debuts Her Very Own ‘Good American’ Denim Line, And More

Khloe Kardashian is expanding her portfolio. After a slew of ventures in the fashion industry with her sister Kim and Kourtney, she recently launched her own line of denim jeans over the weekend and it is a major step in the fashion industry.

It’s clear that Khloe’s “Good American” denim line has tapped a concept retailers have been putting aside for decades.

The 32-year-old reality star has been teasing her newest venture in the fashion industry for months now and “Good American” has finally dropped last week.

The launch was hosted by Nordstrom in LA’s shopping spot, The Grove. Khloe was present during the event along with a lot of fans excited to get their hands on her newest line of jeans.

Kardashian was with her business partner, marketing mogul Emma Grede, and her mom Kris Jenner, who served as members of a panel for the fashion show.

Speaking about creating her own line of jeans, Khloe says that she and Emma believe that all girls should be comfortable wearing jeans that complement their figure adding that “Good American” carries sizes ranging from 2 to 24.

She adds that she hopes the industry starts to take notice of the “Good American” sizing model to expand the product available to women of bigger sizes and curvier figures.

E! News notes that products sized 14 and over are not crafted equally in USA to their smaller counterparts, adding that the fabrics are cheaper but the prices are higher. The designs of some plus size jeans are also not included in some of the denim line’s collection.

Khloe also talks about her struggle to find jeans that work for her body before. She says that she was very insecure of her sisters Kourtney and Kim because when they were younger, the two could easily fit into any jeans they like, and it was not the case for her.

Kardashian says that she didn’t wear jeans for a long time back then because she was embarrassed how some shops don’t carry her size. Now that she has her own line of jeans, she says that she can live in jeans to make up for the years she didn’t wear one.

The reality star admits that despite the attention focusing more on Kim and Kourtney on their show, stylists really had a lot of work on her because they couldn’t find her the perfect pair of jeans that goes with her size.

Reports say that Khloe dipping her toes in the retail world is a major step in the fashion industry. The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality star has been famous for her body image and fitness commitments through the years.

Despite losing a lot of weight, Khloe is also one against body shaming. The blonde beauty admits that she used to work out to be skinny because that’s how society thinks what’s acceptable.

However, as she grew older and has gotten used to the bashers and hate that she has been receiving for her body, she confidently says that she’s working out to be healthy and fit and that women should never be ashamed of their bodies and be confident in flaunting it.
