Katy Perry Looks Back to Her Former Metal Band Before Becoming A Pop Sensation!

NY Mag took a deeper take on the “Smurfs” actress expressing her support for Clinton and suggests that pop stars nowadays, with a huge thanks to social media, have their own ways in instilling equality among people.

The website notes that while pop sensations like Beyonce empower women to take the lead by being fierce and Taylor Swift imposes strength by being vulnerable, Perry’s brand is calm and unchanging.

The Katy Perry of 2010 is still the same as the Katy Perry of 2015 amid her multiple hair color changes — a fact that can give Clinton’s presidential bid a huge boost, NY Mag states.

The “Dark Horse” songstress is also following the footsteps of Kim Kardashian technology-wise. According to Marie Claire, the “Birthday” singer debuted a gaming app where fans can get to play her cartoon doppelganger. The game includes Perry’s voice as well.

Titled “Katy Perry Pop,” the game introduces gamers to a fun colorful world, just like Katy’s, that will help guide their musical dreams. The app is produced by Glu Mobile, the same company that developed and released “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.”

The gaming company announced the collaboration with the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show performer last February and shortly after, a surge in stock prices followed.

Considering the Kim Kardashian’s game made approximately $74 million dollars in revenues last year, the five-time American Music Awards winner can expect more money coming her way courtesy of her gaming app.
