Justin Timberlake has said time and again that he can’t wait to be a daddy as his wife Jessica Biel is about to give birth to their firstborn anytime now.
During the iHeartRadio Music Awards held on March 29, Justin was bequeathed an Innovator Award and during his speech, his paternal instinct came to fore when he profusely thanked his wife Jessica and that he is all set to take on diaper duty for their up and coming baby, much to the delight of the appreciative crowd.
The 34-year-old Timberlake said that he would not have been recognized for his innovation if not for his creations. He expressed his gratitude to his best friend, his favorite collaborator which is no other than his wife Jessica, whom he said was also watching at home.
Justin added in his message to Jessica that he can’t wait to see their greatest creation yet. He also told her not to worry because he is about to go home after his speech to further innovate on learning how to change a poopie diaper and get his swaddle on.
A moving speech
The part of his speech about Jessica and their upcoming baby was actually the tail end of Justin Timberlake’s message.
When he received the Innovator Award, he actually delivered a captivating and inspiring message to inspire the youth to prove to the critics that they have what it take to succeed. He also advised them to embrace their differences.
He said that that when he was growing up, no one ever called him anything close to being an innovator. Justin recalled that people were calling him different and also weird. He even mentioned that he was being called other words that he simply cannot say on TV.
Justin also expressed his gratitude to his mother, Lynn Harless, for teaching him that being different is good. That being different means one could also make a difference in the lives of others. He said that he shall always be thankful to his mom for making him realize that he could make a difference just by being himself.
He also talked about anti-bullying and that it should be stopped to pave the way for more creativity and innovation among the youth.
A special tribute video
Prior to being presented with the Innovator Award by designer Tom Ford, iHeartMusic Radio also showed a special tribute video for Justin that included appearances and messages from Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift, Timbaland, and other influential people in the music industry as well as in Timberlake’s music career.
Justin said that the special tribute video blew his mind off. He said that he loves every people who have shared a word or two about him in the video. And he also thanked everyone in the star-studded film clip for always appreciating his work and his contributions to the music industry.
