Jurassic Park 4 Trailer Debuts with the Hobbit 3: Viewers Waiting to Witness Mutant Dinosaur!

Steven Spielberg’s ‘Jurassic Park’ had revolutionised the way the world viewed the prehistoric animals. The 90s was captivated by the gigantic dinosaurs onscreen, and the thrill has never died. After more than a decade, Spielberg is back with the fourth instalment of the famous ‘Jurassic Park’ series called ‘Jurassic World.’

The poster for Jurassic Park 4 is out and this one has the similar design as the previous three films. It has the popularly known symbol of the open mouthed Tyranosaurus Rex, with the title below the image. Unlike the others, the poster this time is in grey scale and not coloured. The words ‘The Park is Open’ is written at the bottom. This reminds the viewers of what had happened the last time at the Park and creates an ominous feeling.

The film is based on Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park and continues from the story set 22 years ago. The film focuses on a Jurassic World, which is the name given to the park now. In its 22nd year, Isla Nubla’s famous Jurassic Park has dwindling popularity. Visitors are more interested in clicking selfies than enjoying the various dinosaurs on display.

In an attempt to get the Jurassic World back in the tourist map, the scientist take the help of Henry Wu and decide to create a creature by splicing dinosaur DNA with that of a cuttlefish and snake. What they end up creating is a monster called Diabolus Rex.

The Diabolus Rex is a deadly creature, which the scientists at the Jurassic World fail to control and things get massively out of hand. There is havoc and there are speculations that Henry Wu might face death at the hands of one of the dinosaurs he had created.

The other dinosaurs in the park that were recreated by cloning can be tamed. There are reports that Chris Pratt plays the role of an expert in Velociraptor behaviour. The other tamed dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park might be used to ultimately control the deadly Diabolus Rex.

Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow and stars Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Robinson, among others.

The trailer for the much anticipated Jurassic Park 4 was supposed to release this month along with Nolan’s Interstellar, but there were some confusion regarding that. The plan was that the ‘Jurassic World’ trailer would be released with Interstellar prints on IMAX while The Fast & Furious 7 would be shown in the other screens.

Jurassic Park 4

This idea was later scraped because the studio felt that a diluted first glimpse of such a huge film like Jurassic Park 4 might actually not benefit them. Therefore, a decision was taken to premiere the trailer with ‘The Hobbit 3’ on December 17th.
