With Teen Wolf season 4 wrapping up last month, rumors are already doing the rounds about the next season. There is much speculation among fans, online, about the plot for Teen Wolf Season 5. If the trend is followed, the attention is primarily focused on the identity of Jordan Parrish.
Jordan Parrish – played by Ryan Kelley – is the Deputy Sheriff of Beacon Hills. Fans believe that the Parrish is Camden Lahey, Isaac Lahey’s – played by Daniel Sharman – dead older brother. Parrish is shown to be an army veteran in his early 20s. He shares a number of striking similarities with Camden, who died in the service, prior to Isaac being introduced in the show. Fans are of the opinion that Parrish’s regenerative powers and unknown history might suggest that he is indeed Camden.
When Kelly was asked if he has any knowledge about Parrish’s real identity, he said that he has no clue about what is in store for Parrish. Kelly said, “As of now, I know just as much as the fans do.”
All he knows about his character is that, he served in the Middle East, before becoming a Deputy Sheriff and coming to Beacon Hills. He is waiting along with the fans to see what the Teen Wolf Season 5 plot has in store for the character.
Ryan Kelley, who has been seen in other popular roles, like, Ben Tennyson in Ben 10: Alien Swarm said that he did have the opportunity to figure out what was in store for his character, Jordan Parrish. MTV’s Teen Wolf Season 5 creator, Jeff Davis had asked Kelly if he wanted to know about Parrish’s real identity.
Initially, the prospect of knowing the inside story had excited him. Upon realizing that Davis was not very comfortable with sharing the details, he decided to be happy with the little that producers shared with him during the shoot. Kelly said that if he knew the “secrets” surrounding Parrish, he could have played him better. However, the excitement of discovering it as the plot progresses would be missing.
Teen Wolf Season 5 promises to reveal the true identity of Parrish as promised by Davis. The plot line of Teen Wolf Season 5 that premieres in mid-2015, will focus heavily on finding out who Jordan Parrish is. Fans are speculating that Parrish might be a phoenix. The speculation was fuelled by the fire and ash he was associated with in the last season. Kelley, however, feels that he isn’t a phoenix because things can’t get this simple.
