Maybe in a few years he’ll release a sequel to “Linsanity”, his documentary, in which he’ll have an established collection of similar anecdotes to share. As we said above, this could easily become a running joke for him and his work in the NBA, and he could even use it to his advantage in order to boost his popularity.
After all, various celebrities have managed to reap benefits from humorous anecdotes that surround them, and Lin wouldn’t be the first. He already has the kind of dedicated fan base that would make this possible too, so we see no reason not to at least consider it in the future.
There has been no response from the Hornets regarding the situation, nor from the security guard who refused to let Lin in initially. It’s probably safe to assume that the situation was resolved relatively easily after an explanation by the player, however.
For now, his fans are looking forward to his future performances as Lin is expected to deliver quite a lot over the next few months as he continues to contribute to his new team. Are we going to see him in this role in the future too? Only time will tell, but there are definitely strong positive indications in that direction and we wouldn’t be surprised if he sticks around for a bit longer.
