The poster also reads ‘The fire will burn forever,’ which is an allusion to Katniss moniker in the movie as the ‘girl on fire’ as she rallies the people to rebel with the help of President Alma Coin, played by Julianne Moore in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.”
Subsequently, a short video clip, which is referred to by the producers as a motion poster, was revealed to excite fans on the upcoming “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” and also continue highlighting Katniss Everdeen as a superhero.
In the 43-second motion poster, Katniss is shown wearing her long, brunette hair pulled back into her signature braid. She is seen ready for battle as she is also equipped with her bow and arrows.
The face of rebellion is initially seen not looking at the camera but as the clip rolls, she slowly turns her head and face it.
What made her look like a superhero in the motion poster is the long gray cape she wore and it was being blown by the air from the left side, making it look like she was flying or floating on the air.
The camera then pans back to show Katniss actually standing on top of a massive stone sculpture of the now famous District 12 salute, which has become the symbol of rebellion.
