Is Michael Bay Going to Be Involved in Transformers 5? Paramount Studios Trying Hard, More Information!

Current speculations about “Transformers 5” are mostly concerned with who’ll be directing the production, as there are rumors that Michael Bay will not be handling it. This is a rumor that’s been repeated multiple times already, and it’s pretty likely that it’s true at this point. And yet, Paramount Studios haven’t given up on the idea of working with the director, according to the latest reports, as they have been trying to get him on board for the new film and they’re still trying to convince him.

If it’s not handled by Michael Bay, there are indications that the new “Transformers” will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman instead, who has already handled similar productions before, such as “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, and he is also quite familiar with Michael Bay’s work and a fan of his films. That makes him an even better candidate for the position, and it could explain why Paramount have been so eager to let him replace Michael Bay in the director’s chair.

Paramount have been trying to get Michael Bay involved in any way possible, even if it means that he won’t be responsible for the primary directing tasks. Still, they seem to want to consult him on how they should develop different parts of the film, which would mean still having him on board for the production. He could still possibly contribute some good amounts of work without having to be directly responsible for directing the film, so there’s always that possibility.

However, Jonathan Liebesman might not be so fond of the news that Paramount still haven’t given up on the idea of working with Michael Bay, as he seemed interested in handling the directing of this particular film. We can imagine he would be very disappointed if in the end it turns out that Michael Bay agrees to work on the film and Liebesman is booted off.

Of course, fans might not share his disappointment, as many have been excited by the news that Michael Bay could still be coming back to the production, even though it’s a slim possibility at this point. Once the rumor started, it was immediately accompanied by many discussions all over the Web, and it was made pretty clear that many people would love to see “Transformers 5” handled by Michael Bay specifically.

Even if he doesn’t work on the film though, it can still turn out to be a solid production and a good entry into the franchise, as Liebesman has proven that he knows how to handle his work as well, and should not disappoint the franchise’s fans.

  1. Paramount studios NEED TO STOP TRYING TO GET MB BACK SEROUSLY if he’s done with this franshie than he’s done or if he’s not interested than I take his world for it, the king of explosions never makes a mistakes, and always knows what he wants if, he doesn’t what this franshie any more than he doesn’t what it. If I was the head of paramount studios and if MB says to me that he’s not interested than he’s not interested I would fine someone else

  2.
