On the other hand, according to some, that could actually be the main source of the rumors in the first place. But just because the company has announced the full schedule of their release dates doesn’t mean that they aren’t hiding a thing or two in there as a surprise.
It’s entirely possible that there are unannounced releases in that list, including that of the next “Iron Man”, and it would be a smart move for the studio if they wanted to control the release of information about that new film, as well as the hype that surrounds it.
That way they would be in full control over what people are saying about “Iron Man 4” and when, and this in turn is going to give the studio a lot more power when it comes to making people excited about the film and getting them to talk about it.
After all, Marvel are one of the companies that understand the concept of proper hype and marketing through attention very well, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they are already planning ways to get people talking about their new film. We’re probably going to see some more official details in a year or two, and until then, fans are definitely going to speculate very wildly.
F**K Ty Simpkins, he better not be in Iron Man 4! Harley better not become the new Iron Man! Don’t want some stupid kid to become Iron Man. Tony Stark is the ONLY Iron Man. We need to see the real Iron Man (Robert Downey jr.) face the REAL Mandarin in Iron Man 4. The real Mandarin should be the villain of Iron Man 4.
