‘GTA 6’ to Feature More Aerial Missions and More Weapon Choices Too, Latest Rumors Say!

While the sixth installment of the open world action-adventure video game “Grand Theft Auto” franchise is likely to see the light of day in the gaming consoles, at least, two years from now, rumors and speculations about its possible plotlines and features are running plenty on the internet these days one would actually think that the game is about to be released very soon.

Previous reports say that “GTA 6” could likely come out in the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC sometime in 2018.

However, there are also reports suggesting that if and when the game comes out a few years down the road, it may already do so in the next generation gaming consoles from both Sony and Microsoft – the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Two, respectively.

But all these are speculations at this time since game developer Rockstar Games has yet to issue an official statement or announcement regarding “GTA 6.” The only thing certain is that there will be a “GTA 6”.

Few more improvements

Based on the report of N4BB, the latest rumors surrounding the highly-anticipated game indicate that “GTA 6” would feature more flying or aerial missions for the playable characters.

There shall also be more weapon choices for gamers although the franchise has never lacked in such department. In order to keep up with the real world, there shall be countless firearms and ammunitions that shall emerge in the game.

The next loudest rumor about “GTA 6” is about the upcoming game having a female character and that actress Eva Mendes is being considered for the voice acting role.

In fact, latest reports have it that the actress is close to signing a deal with Rockstar for her voice acting engagement on “GTA 6.”

A female protagonist for a “GTA” game would be a welcome change in the franchise but it shall come as no longer a surprise as many other games have also been focusing on female protagonists.

Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar Games, made the reports about the female lead character on “GTA 6” hot again in a recent interview when he was quoted as saying that they were indeed planning to incorporate a female lead character in the next iteration of the “GTA” franchise but they have not found the right game for it.

Houser, however, assured gamers that the game development company always thinks about incorporating a female lead character into the game.

The rumors and speculations about “GTA 6” keeps on piling almost on a daily basis on the internet that no one is actually sure which one or ones would actually make it to the game when it finally comes out of the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC a few years down the road.

Game developer Rockstar Games has yet to come out to confirm or deny practically all types of rumors about “GTA 6,” the most pronounced of which is the game finally having a female protagonist and that its gameplay map shall feature the entire map of the United States.

There were even reports saying that the upcoming sixth installment of the very popular “GTA” franchise will also feature teleportation so as to address the downtime that players would possibly make in moving from one place to another.

In addition, speculations also started swirling recently that the game developer is eyeing to make “GTA 6” very much like the massively multiplayer online role-playing game “World of Warcraft” by offering online subscription.

Multiple protagonists for ‘GTA 6?’

Multiple protagonists have not been a cup of tea for the GTA franchise. But since “GTA 2,” each game has featured a set of protagonist around whom the story centers.

But it got mixed up with the release of “GTA 5” in October 2013 as it featured three protagonists, namely, Michael, Franklin, and Trevor.

While gamers were a bit skeptical about multiple protagonists in “GTA 5,” the game eventually turned out to be a huge success. However, some gamers still believe that the use of three playable characters diminished the game’s plot, notes Neurogadget.
