‘GTA 6’ Latest Rumors State that the Game Could Have Tokyo, Japan as Setting!

In addition to the terrorists as antagonists in the special gameplay mode of “GTA 6,” there are also reports saying that Rockstar Games might actually consider releasing the game to coincide with the release of the next generation gaming platforms including the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Two.

Based on previous reports, the reason why Rockstar Games has not yet started working heavily on the development of “GTA 6” is because it is currently working on the open world Western action-adventure video game “Red Dead Redemption 2.”

Accordingly, the game developer shall be able to focus on the development of “GTA 6” once the company officially releases the upcoming game later this year following the game’s likely unveiling at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 in Los Angeles next month.

However, there are now reports coming out saying that in addition to the ongoing work on “Red Dead Redemption 2,” the development of “GTA 6” is also being hampered by the massive success of the “GTA Online.” Rockstar is apparently making a lot of money with the online multiplayer version of its game so it keeps on releasing updates and fresh DLCs.

Rockstar is reportedly focused on releasing new contents, deals, and special events for “GTA Online” more than concentrating on “GTA 6.”

The game developer has obviously found out that its strategy has proven to be very profitable, which is comparable to most popular mobile video games today.
