‘Gran Turismo 7’ to Provide Gamers with the Most Accurate Driving Experience on Any Gaming Console!

The upcoming car racing video game “Gran Turismo 7” shall exclusively be released on the PlayStation 4 but according to its developer Polyphony Digital, it will provide the most accurate experience of driving on any gaming console.

In fact, the tagline of the video game franchise is the real driving simulator so “Gran Turismo 7” is bound to live up to the hype and maintain the legacy of the car racing video game series.

Based on previous reports, “Gran Turismo 7” will feature improved engine noise and graphics that shall blend well with a new physics engine, making it even closer to life.

Reports also have it that the next “Gran Turismo” game should come with a range of assists for Sunday drivers, offering everything from Stability Assist or ABS and racing lines to make driving more accessible. But like most racing games, “Gran Turismo 7’ will be enhanced using a wheel with no assist, details Alphr.

A prelude to the game

But before gamers get a piece of “Gran Turismo 7,” they will have the opportunity to play “Gran Turismo Sports” this year which critics describe as a prelude to the seventh installment of the car racing video game franchise.

Sony’s flagship racer will have some tough competition when it finally comes out on the PlayStation 4 next year including “Project Cars,” “Need for Speed,” “Driveclub,” and the Xbox One-exclusive “Forza Motorsport 6.”

“Gran Turismo Sports” is expected to hit the PlayStation 4 in the spring of this year so the full game could hit as early as late this year or early next year and that is surely heightening the excitement of gamers for “Gran Turismo 7.”

Although series director Kazunori Yamauchi has been known for being late in releasing the previous games of the franchise, Sony remains confident that “Gran Turismo 7” will come out this time within its own timeline.

Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, believes that Yamauchi would deliver on his promise as the Japanese developer has been working on “Gran Turismo 7” for a while already ever since the release of the “Gran Turismo 6.”

Not a prologue

Ryan also stated that “Gran Turismo Sport” is not a prologue of “Gran Turismo 7,” explaining that the first game can further be expanded with the possible addition of a DLC.

He said a DLC was not possible in previously released prologue games of the franchise for “Gran Turismo 4” and “Gran Turismo 5,” notes KpopStarz.

Ryan also said that when “Gran Turismo 7” becomes more of an online connected experience, its distinction with “Gran Turismo Sport” will blur but he assured fans and gamers that the former is much more than a prologue type experience.

Sony Computer Entertainment announced during the Paris Games Week late in October last year that it will be launching the “Gran Turismo Sports” video game exclusively on the PlayStation 4 this year, which came out as a bit of disappointment to anxious fans of “Gran Turismo 7.”

Sony also made it clear that “Gran Turismo Sports” is an entirely different game from “Gran Turismo 7” although it alluded that the upcoming game would be a good thirst-quencher for the anticipating fans of the seventh installment of the “Gran Turismo” video game franchise.

Jim Ryan describes “Gran Turismo Sports” as packing some content, which was not possible with the games back in the old days, which were only limited to what was available on the disc.

For a while, fans of “Gran Turismo 7” were expecting that the game will finally be released this year based on the hints of Kazunori Yamauchi who said previously that the upcoming game will feature more premium cars that shall represent modern-day racing.
