While it is slated as a new milestone in the Android N’s development that will bring it ever closer to completion, the fact that the operating system is still in the beta phase at this point means that it will take some more time before it comes out.
So for users waiting for Google’s Nexus 7 2016 as well as for fans of Android devices in general, they are all saying that the future of Nexus devices will come at a later date than originally expected.
Since Google plans to have all of its next devices running the new Android N operating system, a longer development of the Android N means that devices that will run on it cannot be released yet.
Nexus users can expect the new devices to come out either in September or October. Google announced that the final SDKs for the Android N are currently being planned for the third quarter of 2016, which places the month of September as a strong candidate for a release date based on previous Nexus launch dates, though rumors also heavily suggest October as a possibility.
Regardless of the release date of Google Nexus 7 2016, it is bound to take the market by storm the same way that it predecessors once did.
