Gears of War 4 Developers Treat Their Fans for Valentine’s Day in Their Own Special Way

This is all a nice contrast to the general sentiments we saw during the development of the title, as some fans were worried that the studio might be putting too much effort into monetizing it at the cost of a fun gameplay experience.

While it’s true that the monetization of the “Gears of War” franchise has been getting more and more obvious and pronounced, it’s also still quite clear that the people behind the games are treating their job in a responsible manner and aren’t going to sell out anytime soon.

Events like the recently released Valentine’s Day special just serve to make that even more obvious, and we’re interested to see what else the developers might be planning for the near future.

They certainly don’t have any shortage of followers right now and it’s easy to generate a lot of hype about this game with everything they do. And best of all, they seem to know exactly how to capitalize on that popularity and have been working hard to keep all their players happy and attached to the game as best as possible. With all that in mind, we expect “Gears of War 4” to retain its popularity for a long time in the future, perhaps even all the way to the next major release in the franchise.
