In “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain,” gamers will take on the role of Venom Snake or the Big Boss. The majority of the gameplay elements were not changed. The players will still have to sneak from several points in the game world as they avoid enemy guards and remain on stealth mode. Snake’s character comes with a couple of repertoires including maps, pistols, binoculars and explosives.
Kojima said they are not making the PC version a priority but they are aiming for the visions seen on the trailer to be the quality players will see in the actual game. He also announced that it will be his final “Metal Gear Solid” game.
Kojima was reported to have announced the same thing with his previous projects only to come back to the game. However, he insisted that this will really be his final work for “Metal Gear Solid.”
“Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” will launch on September 1. It is set on New Order’s 1985 opus Elegia. Fans and critics expect to see a big transition from hero to villain in the new plot of the game.
