‘Game of War: Fire Age’ Ushers New Marketing Strategy by Replacing Kate Upton with Mariah Carey as Image Model

The virtual world is almost real-like, as the game uses real time measurements. It has reached more than 40 million downloads and it is available for iPad, iPad mini, Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. The game itself took approximately 19 months to build, with a team of about 80 people. Average play counts up to 14 hours a week.

As a multiplayer online game, “Game of War: Fire Age” incorporates competition on a global level. As with the majority of MMO games, it also incorporates virtual economics, where players can earn and spend money. In “Game of War: Fire Age,” players can exchange money they earned for add-ons and special equipment such as an advanced teleport, which enables the player to move faster through the world; equipment bags, which give four new slots to the crafting inventory; and torches that can destroy buildings.

In addition to basic virtual economics, the game also offers an Alliance Bank option, which enables players to form an online bank account for the game. This way, allies can send each other resources, and there is a banker that keeps them stored. The Alliance Bank is guarded by the banker who gets paid by the allies for each day he guards the resources. Therefore, if a team has about 30 members, the banker keeps the shield for a whole month, given that all the players pay a day’s fee. This option also includes a fee to the Marketplace, which is used for sending the resources to the bank, and this takes 30 percent of the total sum of resources.

“Game of War: Fire Age” falls under the category of massively multiplayer online role-playing games, or MMORPG. This enables the players to enter a virtual world anywhere with their mobile apps and communicate worldwide. Players can also send emails, post comments, and share their features on forums.
