However, the book will be out before season 6 of the show starts airing – so fans who’re following both the books as well as the TV series won’t have to worry about having the book spoiled for them by the episodes of the show. Or even worse, having to force themselves to not watch the show until they have had a chance to read the book.
Which might not even help in the end – it’s practically impossible to avoid “Game of Thrones” spoilers on the Internet, and anyone who doesn’t want to have the book spoiled for them should read it as soon as it’s out before going to discussion boards.
So far, it looks like fans of the show/books are going to get lots of exciting surprises soon, as developments on both sides are shaping up very well. We certainly can’t wait to see what the new episodes of the show will look like once they have been released, whenever that might be planned for right now.
The show has already spoiled some theories of the books
Not really.
Just because some of the content was cut doesn’t mean it wont appear in the next series. That’s how it works for stuff like this.
I expect to see griffins roost and the iron islands feature more prominently in the next series.
They tend not to build up the smaller back story as fitting such a huge book into a small 10 episode series is a difficult task.
