Game Developer Treyarch Studios Whets ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’ Fan Appetite with Planned Surprise at E3 2015

Game publisher Activision has previously confirmed that “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” would be released on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC on November 6.

But in order to build the excitement and further whet fan appetite on the upcoming video game, developer Treyarch Studios is planning to unravel a surprise for gamers regarding the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 16 to 18.

Game design director David Vonderhaar let loose on the planned reveal in his tweets wherein he said that fans should get ready for a surprise in the coming E3 2015. He also mentioned that the surprise had him smiling and giving his thumbs up and that he can hardly wait to show it to the fans. He ended his post by saying that he has to go back to the lab and continue working.

Looking forward to a game-changer

The “Call of Duty” video game franchise has been the subject of various criticisms over the pas few years and it only got some sort of redemption with the release last year of the “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare,” notes Attack of the Fanboy.

So gamers are really excited and interested on what surprise that Treyarch Studios will be pulling off on the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” fans come the E3 2015.

Players are also awaiting the release of the first multiplayer beta version of the game and speculations are now rife that it could possibly be unravelled by the game developer in August although there has not been an official confirmation or statement from Treyarch Studios about it.

Gamers are hoping that the surprise for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” fans should be worth it because they have been looking forward to a game-changing development on the video game franchise for quite some time already.

Weekend game release

The release date of the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” is on November 6. The date falls on a Friday and it would be the first time that Activision Publishing would be rolling out a game on that day as it has become its tradition, along with most other game publishers, to release games during the middle of the week.

Treyarch Studios confirmed that gamers can pick up “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” on a Friday which also means they get to spend more time enjoying it before work and school come calling the following Monday.

Rob Kostich, senior vice president at Activision Publishing, explained that the Friday release date for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” is meant to give gamers and fans more fun. He said that kicking off the game on a weekend would result to a really fun weekend for everyone.
