‘Final Fantasy XV’ Paces Best PlayStation 4 Deals to Start Off February with a Big Bang!

The onset of February has been big on PlayStation 4 gamers as Sony began the month with some jaw-dropping deals on a ton of games, which is one sure way of promoting the continued use of the gaming console.

None can be more mouth-watering than the deal the Japanese gaming company offered for the role-playing game “Final Fantasy XV” which was just launched by Square Enix on the gaming consoles in September last year.

During the first week of February, Sony made the PS4 version of “Final Fantasy XV” available for $46.90 or a discount of $13 or about 25% off from the total price, which is huge for a big title game. It is almost sure that gamers scampered to take advantage of the great deal for a great video game title like “Final Fantasy XV.”

In addition to “Final Fantasy XV,” Sony also offered discounts to major titles including the likes of “Grand Theft Auto V,” “Dishonored 2 Limited Edition,” “Skyrim Special Edition,” “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” “Call of Duty Infinite Warfare,” “NBA 2K17,” “FIFA 17,” and many more, reports News CDN.

The discounts on the PS4 versions of the games certainly had the gamers on the Xbox One and PC green with envy and they are hoping that Microsoft would also offer the same type of discounts soon.

Up to $40 discount

Over 50 PS4 games were offered their respective discounts that range from $11 to as much as $42.

Not surprisingly, the game with the biggest discount was the open world action-adventure video game “No Man’s Sky” which was already being retailed for only $17.09 and a price cut of $42.

There is actually a bigger discount on the roster of PS4 deals but it is a collector’s edition of “Doom” which got $53 and it is not because the game got negative reviews but because it was a bundled edition.

Apparently, because of the disappointment of “No Man’s Sky” when it came out in August last year, Sony was able to convince developer Hello Games to practically give away its much-maligned video game for merely a song.

It seems that the PS4 deals worked in such a way that games which made positive reviews were only given a discount of not more than $13 while the games which elicited negative feedbacks from gamers got discounts ranging from $25 to $42. In some cases, the longer the game has been in the market, the bigger its discount.

Three other games that got major discounts of $40 each is the “Exist Archive The Other Side of the Sky, the “LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack,” and the “Guilty Gear Xrd-Revelator.”

And then there is also the $38 discount for “Deus Ex Mankind Divided” which was already being retailed for $21.99, and also “The Technomancer” which was offered with a huge $34 price cut.

Games with $30 or more discounts

The “Nobunaga’s Ambition Sphere of Influence Ascension” got a $31 discount while video games “Watch Dogs 2,” “Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak Special Gigs,” and “Paragon Essentials Edition” each got $30 price cut, details Cog Connected.

Contrastingly, the game with the least discount among those offered by Sony is “Republique” with an $8 discount although the original price of the game is only $25.05. The better games with discounts of $11 each are “Disgaea 5 Alliance of Vengeance,” “Far Cry 4,” and “Batman The Telltale Series.”

“Transformers Devastation” was sold with an $11.50 price cut, “Just Cause 3” got a discount of $12, “Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness” got $12.50 off, “Mortal Kombat XL” got a price cut of $15, and “Far Cry Primal got a price slash of $16.
