Actress Dakota Johnson blew into New York on January 30 and it is expected that she would be doing the rounds on the talk shows or do some press conference for the upcoming showing of “Fifty Shades Darker,” due to hit theaters on February 10.
She and a friend were actually spotted in the East Village neighborhood of the Big Apple one day after landing at the JFK International Airport on the night of January 29, reports Just Jared.
In about the same time that she is set to begin her press rounds for the second movie of the erotic trilogy featuring her and actor Jamie Dornan, the actor showed off his newly-shaved head.
In an interview on that day, Dakota Johnson also talked about her plans after she and Jamie already completed filming “Fifty Shades Darker” and the third movie of the trilogy, “Fifty Shades Freed” back-to-back.
No qualms about nudity
The actress also does not have any qualms baring her gorgeous body before the cameras. She said that in order to tell the story of the erotic film trilogy according to how it was written in the book by author E.L. James, nudity is quite necessary when telling the sexual relationship of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.
She said that she does not want to see someone wearing a bra and underwear in a sex scene. She pointed out that when people make love, they are always naked.
When asked how long she will do nude scenes in her future films, the young actress who is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson said in jest that she will only stop doing nude scenes when her boobs start sagging.
She said that she really does not know when would that happen, citing that maybe she has more of a European mindset about such things, reports ET Online.
Nothing but good words for co-star
Contrary to various speculations that there is something romantic going on between her and Jamie Dornan while they were filming the trilogy, Dakota Johnson said that she has nothing but good words and praises for her co-star.
She said that she is quite proud of their performance in all of the three films.
Dakota is set to grace the February issue of Vogue magazine and it would likely boost her stock as well as the box-office performance of “Fifty Shades Darker” in theaters.
She just laughs off the rumors linking her and Jamie Dornan. She said that she gets along well with the actor.
Dakota explained that she and Jamie worked so incredibly closely for so long. She added that there were no inhibitions, and it was very honest, very trusting. She said it was actually a gamble on her part especially if the actor turned out to be otherwise.
Meanwhile, the second official trailer of the erotic romance film “Fifty Shades Darker” has been released early last month and it has been creating quite a stir as it is clearly more informative and steamier than the first one released in 2015.
Dakota Johnson was a bit prettier and sexier in the sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey” that was shown in February 2015. Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey, still looks manly and good looking that he is when the first movie was shown.
Unlike the first movie which was seemingly groping for form as it gradually introduces the characters from the novel of E.L. James, “Fifty Shades Darker” already knows what to do and what direction it wants to head, which is why it looks exciting based on the second trailer alone.
Based on the trailer of “Fifty Shades Darker,” it would seem that Christian and Ana would have a reconciliation at the beginning, months after they parted ways at the end of “Fifty Shades of Grey” because as what Christian told her, he cannot imagine his life without her on it.
The 120-second trailer also got a big boost from its music track, which was a collaboration between former One Direction band member Zayn Malik and pop queen Taylor Swift, which critics believe, was far better than the ‘Crazy in Love’ version of Beyonce where it seemed to have come from high up in the clouds.
