‘Fallout 4’ Patch 1.3 Update Comes with Bug Fixes, Tweaks, and New Ambient Occlusion Setting!

Before hitting the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, and the PC early in November last year, there have been complaints about the not-so-satisfactory graphics of the game that actually made some gamers uneasy about “Fallout 4.”

Based on the leaks prior to its official rollout, the game’s graphics and animations looked flat and a bit off, contrary to what game developer Bethesda has said about “Fallout 4.”

In fact, critics believed then that the leaks projected the visuals of the game fall way below expectations that it is possible that Bethesda would do everything in its power to take them all down. Obviously, the game developer does not want to take the sting out of “Fallout 4” whose hype it has painstakingly built for more than a year.

In some of the leaked photos back then, gamers noted that some environmental textures looked flat and the character models appeared a bit off.

As for the videos, there are plenty to be desired in terms of character lip syncing and facial animations. There are also weird AI quirks including a flaming Dogmeat walking calmly through a doorway after a fight.

No wonder, barely three months after its release, Bethesda has already released three major patches to the game including the very recent Patch 1.3.
