‘Fallout 4’ Next DLC to Add New Adventures, Quest, and Items to an Already Fully-Loaded Game!

The post-Apocalyptic role-playing game “Fallout 4” officially came out on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC on November 10 last year.

Some four months later, the first DLC of the game officially called “Automatron” arrived on the gaming platforms and the PC in the US before making it to gaming consoles and the PC in the rest of the world a few weeks later.

About a month later or in April, game developer Bethesda Studios released the “Wasteland Workshop” DLC to “Fallout 4″ which further heightened fan excitement and interest on the game by bringing more new contents.

As if the game is not fully-loaded enough, Bethesda is set to officially roll out the third DLC to the game called as “Far Harbor” this month which shall bring new adventures, new quests, new items and further add-on to the already mind-boggling content of “Fallout 4.”

Reports have it that the DLC would come out on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, and the PC worldwide on May 19, notes Gotta Be Mobile.

Surviving the Survival Mode

Because of the high degree of difficulty of the Survival Mode of “Fallout 4,” most gamers already think that they will already lose the game even before they start playing the mode.

However, one player has reportedly managed to beat the entire thing on the “Fallout 4” Survival Mode on a single life, notes Kotaku.

The gamer, who goes by the name of Kyle Hinckley, got his toughest challenge playing the game’s Survival Mode, not from any gameplay elements but the nearly catastrophic glitch that almost had his game cut off.

Hinckley’s adventure was an intense one alright and took him over 36 hours of intermittent plays but the typical challenges that came with a permadeath Survival run were not the most memorable part of playing “Fallout 4” for him.

He eventually learned that the best part of the experience is when things go haywire and break, which is a classic Bethesda Studios style.

Fixing some issues

Early this month, Bethesda Studios also released the latest update to “Fallout 4” called as Patch 1.5. It first arrived on the PC on May 2 before it came to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 a week later.

While the update brought forth excellent changes to the award-winning game as well as bug fixes, gameplay enhancements, and support for “Fallout 4” mods, it also brought out several problems.

There are a number of issues plaguing Patch 1.5 users, especially PC gamers, and critics believed then that the same problems will carry over to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 when it comes out to the gaming consoles. They were right.

Among the problems that hounded Patch 1.5 of “Fallout 4” include issues with official “Fallout 4” modes, a targeting bug, crashing, inability to open the game, power armor vanishing for no apparent reason, various issues with the Survival Mode, a crafting station bug, broken foliage, and other texture issues, and several more.

It seems however that crashes are the most common issue among PC gamers of “Fallout 4.” The Patch 1.5 also did not seem to fix the issues with “Automatron” and “Wasteland Workshop” DLCs, the first two additional contents of the game since it was released in November last year.

Critics wonder why the Patch 1.5 caused a lot of problems when in fact Bethesda Studios released a beta of the update before finalizing and releasing a full version early this month.

In addition to the release of the Patch 1.5, game developer Bethesda Studios has been touted to release the game’s next DLC titled “Far Harbor” that is expected to change the game completely.

It is likely that the next DLC of “Fallout 4” will be released to the gaming consoles and the PC this week since Patch 1.5 already rolled out to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 last week.
