Fallout 4: New Mods and Soon-To-Be-Made Available VR Compatibility, Will Sony Co-Operate?

With the news from Sony about the latest console, Fallout has also announced that it will release Fallout 4 on its new console with the new features incorporated. After the dispute with Sony regarding the mods for the 1.8 update, Sony agreed to let the users create and make changes in their content by using Bethesda’s Creation Kit and Bethesda laid the grounds that the players of PS4 will not be able to add on external mods to their content.

The recent update has brought about many fixes like a rare crashing issue being fixed, apart from that even the issue where the mods images would not get loaded while scrolling quickly has been taking care of. A Sentry Bot that fired dual Gatling Lasers will no longer result in the sound being cut off.

As far as the compatibility with VR is considered, small parts of the software are already working in VR and the director, Todd Howard has promised further updates in it. Glixel’s reply to whether the game will be completely VR compatible or not was that it is working towards that. A completely VR-ified game is not too far off as per claims made by Glixel.

A reviewer who has played the VR demo of the game has given mixed reviews. On the one hand, he is impressed by the fact that he can fight bandits and shoot by raising his hands, however, he is not a big fan of the teleporting feature of the game.
