Bethesda is currently working on a version of that Fallout 4 that will be VR compatible. Alex attempted at a demo for the same at E3 2016 which was limited but interesting enough to grab attention. The final product, however, is expected to be more ambitious, and all of the features of VR are expected to be installed into the VR setup.
After being the best game title of last year, the mods for PS4 console have been made available after a near rejection by Sony. Bethesda stated that Sony refused the mods that would’ve given the users freedom to do anything. However, Fallout 4 has already released the 1.8 update recently which has made the mods available to the users.
Out of these mods, five of them standout, the first one of them is the Minutemen Quests. The update has introduced certain quests, but the players have the option of completing their existent quests and move to the new limited quests. By Preston Garvey letting you in on new quests, the pressure to help out settlements has reduced.
The second update is that the settlements will have wild vegetation like hubflowers and brain fungus which can be considered as their domesticated counterparts as long as they appear in the inventory. The third mode enables the player to work with ten times more resources to develop their respective settlements. This update, however, works only on the new games and not on the previous versions.
The fourth, best mod is the increase in the damage of the minigun. It has been raised from 8 to 100, and it also improves the accuracy and capacity of ammo it can hold. The minigun with a whopping capacity of 5,000 can be acquired at Arturo for 15 caps.
The update is now available for PS4, PC and Xbox One users with the PC update being as small as a 100MB in size. However, if the users haven’t downloaded the previous updates for Fallout 4, then the size would be comparatively larger.
Even though the previous updates for the game have fixed several bugs, the new update is raising new problems already. The 1.8 update includes issues of texturing, lagging, crashing and some drawbacks to the mods. The company is expecting to learn about all the possible glitches as soon as they can to be able to fix them. For this, they have asked the users to place complaints and give feedback on their support website.
In addition to these problems, the access to the mods has been tough for the PS4 users. Due to some disputes between Sony and Bethesda, the mods have been made available to only those users who make use of its internal assets alone. This will, in turn, result in fewer mods being available to PS4 users in comparison to Xbox One and PC users.
For the S4 users to enjoy the modding smoothly, they will have to rely on the games pre-existing internal assets and the custom textures which can be applied to the mods. The fans are also advised to look for their fixes on the Bethesda’s website.
Another trending mod is that of the Vanilla_Thunder’s Developer room mod which contains every item in the game including weapons and armors. This mode that screams “God Mode” will be installed in the versions shortly within maybe a week or two.
