Meanwhile, JD continues to track down leads on how John died. He discovered that before Molly’s husband’s death, Julie actually made a call to a top-level clearance government and 10 minutes later, John was killed by a train.
The police officer contacted Molly so that they can discuss the new information but on her way to the meeting, Molly met one of the men she slept with when she blacked out and he started getting aggressive with her.
Molly started becoming weird, flashing a weird symbol with her eyes and causing him to hallucinate about his dead mother. The man then ran into the street and promptly got run over by a speeding car.
“Extant” is created by Micky Fisher and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. The story revolves around female astronaut Molly Woods who returns home to her family inexplicably pregnant after her solo mission in outer space.
The show, which is also a production of Spielberg’s Amblin Television, premiered on the CBS television network on July 9, 2014. Exactly three months after the start of “Extant” Season 1, the show was renewed for a second season, which premiered on July 1, 2015.
