Elder Scrolls 6 Could Be a Direct Sequel to Skyrim, Not Coming Anytime Soon!

After all, not all new features would work so well with a game like “The Elder Scrolls 6”, as the fantasy setting of the franchise precludes some elements from making much sense. At the same time, there are some obvious candidates that would be great additions to the new title.

For example, the new crafting system is very advanced and with a lot of potential for making the gameplay even more interesting and expansive, and it can be argued that settlement building could be a good addition as well, although it might have to be modified to some extent.

Some people are actually arguing that settlements will have no real place in “The Elder Scrolls 6”, and that even their implementation in “Fallout 4” suffered from some issues that made it less than ideal. If Bethesda decide to rework the system though, we can see it fitting into the next game quite nicely.

That’s all still in the far future though. As we said above, there has most likely been very little progress on the game at this point and it’s not very reasonable to argue about its gameplay features. Once Bethesda start making some more active announcements about their work behind the scenes, we could start seeing some more interesting rumors and discussions about the future of the franchise and how its next installment might work.
