There has also been some controversy in Bethesda’s fan communities lately regarding the stealing of mods and the studio’s attempts to profit from mod sales. It will be interesting to see where this all ends up, being one of the hottest topics surrounding the franchise at the moment.
No matter how long Bethesda take with this game though, we just hope that they will keep releasing enough information about it during its development. The studio likes to keep secrets normally, but considering how much hype there has been around this particular game, it would be a very bad move to keep their fans in the dark for such a long period of time, especially after confirming the game’s development.
We expect some press release by the end of this year, even if the actual game isn’t planned to come out in 2017. Even a few bits of information could generate a lot of discussion among fans and keep “The Elder Scrolls 6” in the spotlight until it’s released.
There is a long time to go until the end of 2016 though, and a lot can happen with the franchise. There are also rumors that Bethesda might be working on another release in the same series along with “The Elder Scrolls 6”, but there is pretty much no information on that front yet, except for claims that it will be a single player game.
