We have good news for the gamers. E3 has updated their website for the 2015 event, and this gives out a few hints as to what we can expect from the upcoming event. E3 will be held from June 16th to 18th 2015, and we are gearing up for some big announcements next year.
Just as the Tokyo Game Show 2014 was coming to an end, we got to witness all the interesting releases of 2014. Hence, we now await information about the upcoming game titles that plan on releasing next year.
Dishonored 2 is rumored to release next year, although, Bethesda is yet to make such an announcement. The Elder Scrolls franchise is one of the most popular from the company, and fans want to emulate the success with Dishonored 2.
The Designers of Dishonored, Arkane Studios, is tight-lipped on the situation. Latest rumors suggest that Arkane Lyon is presently hiring professionals for the post of Engine Programmer, which suggests that Arkane is looking to work on multiple gaming platforms simultaneously.
The makers are considering Role-Playing and First-Person Shooter action games, and Dishonored 2 fits the description perfectly. Initial speculations suggest that the game could be titled Tyvia, although, the authenticity of these reports is worthy of being debated.
However, this could mean a change in setting of Dishonored 2. Tyvia is a renowned location in the Dishonored universe, and the upcoming title is likely to be based on a different backdrop. However, without an official word from Bethesda, it is difficult to ascertain the future based on present reports.
Ever since Dishonored released back in 2012, the gamers went gaga over the graphics and storyline. The game was beautifully designed with attention paid to even the minor details. The first’s installment’s plot is tailor-made to support a prequel or sequel. Hence, gamers were looking intently for the next installment.
Pete Hines, the PR of marketing and VP of Bethesda in an interview said, “We try not to indulge in any one-off projects.” Hence, the gamers can be sure of Dishonored 2 making it to retailers at some point of time!
However, apart from Bethesda commenting on the “possibility” of the next installment, we have no concrete proof of Dishonored 2 making an actual foray. The unconfirmed title is most likely to go online on multiple platforms, such as the Xbox 360, PC and PS3.

However, Arkane is known to be working on Prey 2 for quite a while, and we are sincerely hoping to catch up with what the game has to offer soon.
