Game developer Bioware has successfully held a multiplayer weekend for the gamers of the open-world epic video game “Dragon Age: Inquisition” this past weekend which proved once again that it is one of the best role-playing games on both the gaming consoles and the PC since last year.
Given the huge turnout of gamers who took part in the “Dragon Age: Inquisition” multiplayer weekend, the game has evidently not lost its punch as a fan favorite.
The multiplayer weekend event had a mission title of ‘Demon Slayer’ and run from June 19 to 22. Gamers, who took on the role of Inquisition soldiers, were tasked to kill at least 50 demons each.
Demons have been running wild all over the place across the South. Commander Cullen does not want the South to fall like what happened to Crestwood and the Adamant Fortress, which were overran by demons.
Team kill target was set at 375,000 demons for the PlayStation 4 and 250,000 demons for both the Xbox One and the PC. But for the current generation gaming consoles – the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 – it was only set at 125,000 demons, details the “Dragon Age: Inquisition” website.
Each Inquisition agent or player who completed his goal was awarded a Commendation Chest while all other agents get a Victory Chest upon completion of the Inquisition.
Personalization elements
The latest DLC for “Dragon Age: Inquisition” titled ‘Spoils of the Avvar’ released in the second week of June offers new personalization elements to gamers as they go on with their quest and exploration of the fantasy world.
The DLC pack also includes the Avvar Mount Pack which also contains five different beasts to ride across Thedas, details Youth Health Mag. It also comes with two sets of unique armor as loot and schematics to give the gamer an instant advantage against his opponents.
BioWare has made the latest DLC pack for “Dragon Age: Inquisition” available across all gaming platforms including the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 3, the Xbox One, the Xbox 360, and the PC.
The good news for gamers is that the new DLC will only cost $5 making it quite a bargain for those who are looking for a new challenge and update on “Dragon Age: Inquisition.”
There are also reports that BioWare will release a patch 8 to the game soon, whose beta testing is reportedly already being handed out to gamers worldwide.
The developer refuses to reveal any detail on what the new patch contains but it is likely to meant to give gamers a new round of excitement on “Dragon Age: Inquisition.”
Raising the bar in role-playing game excellence
“Dragon Age: Inquisition” is regarded as the best role-playing video game for 2014. In a report early this year, game critics believe that the video game developed by BioWare is a hands-down winner because of its massive adventure, masterful storytelling, rich and vibrant fantasy worlds, and superb animation.

The NPCs look like they’re cosplaying in the game. I mean, the clothings and armors are so cheesy and pretentious. Heh.
