With that in mind, some fans are curious if we might see an even bloodier remainder of the season. A change in the show’s general tone probably wouldn’t be taken too well by its older fans at this point, as the production has established some ideas over its eleven seasons which should not be messed with too much.
Another fun fact for episode 13 is that it will feature Aisha Tyler in a guest role, playing the character of Dr. Tara Lewis. TV fans might recognize Tyler from her roles on other shows, such as “Archer”.
“Criminal Minds” regularly features cameo roles and even more serious appearances by various celebrity figures though, so that shouldn’t be too surprising to any of its fans.
The show also does a relatively great job incorporating those actors in a relatively subtle way, as other shows sometimes tend to fall for the trap of paying too much attention to guest appearances by important actors, ruining the overall mood of that particular episode. From what we’ve seen in “Criminal Minds” so far, we expect that the appearance of Aisha Tyler – and any other actors of a similar caliber – will be handled appropriately and she won’t steal the spotlight in the upcoming episode. However, her fans should definitely tune in to check her out.
