But each has been through terrible ordeals and is battling his or her own demons. So both of them have to find themselves first before they go into that much-awaited relationship, which many fans and critics of the TV series believe will eventually happen anyway.
It is quite obvious that the two of them can make each other better and that their relationship has its potential and should be largely anchored on their passion for one another. But it is also obvious that they are both not yet ready. Lindsay should focus more on healing herself before she can focus on having that committed relationship with Jay.
It would not really look good if Lindsay will dive into the relationship because she needs someone to hold on to as it is the last thing that a true relationship needs for a solid footing.
There are also notions that Linstead may eventually end up getting married. That’s a strong possibility indeed but before getting there, a lot of stories and subplots have to be told by the creators so it could come very well as an icing on the cake. In the meantime, Season 3 is still too early to even talk about wedding bells for Linstead.
