Castle Season 8 to Bring more Romantic Drama for Main Character and Beckett!

Rick Castle is an interesting character for many reasons, and fans of his show love to speculate about what the writers are planning for his adventures next. Lately, Castle has been in a but of a tough spot with regards to his love life, and there has been a certain sentiment of worrying from fans as many people seem to believe that the story is headed in a bad direction for their favorite character.

Recently, Castle finally got back together with Kate Beckett, and the episode in which this happened saw some very positive responses from fans. For the most part, the general sentiment was “finally” as some people have apparently been waiting for this to happen for quite a while now. But it looks like this happiness could be a bit short-lived as the writers are apparently planning to drive a wedge between the two characters once again very soon.

And now, fans are speculating if Castle and Beckett are ever going to be together for good, or if the love story between them will be dragged out forever. We’ve seen the latter in other productions, but it pretty much never works out in a good way. Usually, it’s done in an attempt by the writers to keep the story lively and interesting for a long time, but after a while this can start to backfire as fans start to get frustrated with the lack of development.

We don’t know if “Castle” is actually headed in this direction or not, but if the writers really are planning to use the character’s romantic relationships as a means of inserting drama into the story, this can quickly test fans’ patience.

It’s also worth remembering that “Castle” has been on the screen for quite a while now already, and the show has managed to establish an active following of fans who expect the story to develop in certain directions. At the same time, the producers of the show are under a lot of stress to keep the story interesting for so many seasons, and this must have definitely taken a toll on them.

Another important detail to consider is that the “separation” of the two characters is just part of the game they are currently playing, and it’s an act that they have to maintain in front of other people. Behind the scenes, it looks like their relationship is as alive as before, so it would be interesting to see how this affects the dynamics of the couple. There is some speculation that forcing the two to pretend to be arguing could actually strengthen their bond, and that might be the ultimate idea of the writers with this move.

We certainly expect that this is something they’ve been planning for a while, especially with regards to its repercussions for the story in the long term, so fans should not worry too much. After all, it wouldn’t be in the style of this show to have a disappointing conclusion to the story between the two characters, so whatever this is building up to, it will probably be a good outcome in the end.

Castle Season 8

Future episodes of the show are reportedly coming with certain developments that we haven’t seen in this production so far, and the writers could be looking to significantly shake things up in the next episodes. There is obviously a lot of speculation from fans regarding what those changes could be, including some more negative theories, but this isn’t the kind of show to bring major drama to the table, at least not without a good reason.

  1. First the writers and show runners should respect the characters and the fans. This would require adherence to certain specific and unbreakable/Unbendable rules. My opinion of what these rules should be are as follows:
    (1) Caskett have only been married for a year and they are very much in love 24/7 even though they cannot show it around others.
    (2) There will be no unfaithfulness of any kind.
    (3) There will be very little, if any, flirting and/or swooning as occurred with Danny and Eric.
    (4) There will always be mutual respect and understanding.
    (5) There will be no hurting comments during make believe or real arguments.
    (6) Every day will end with no hard feelings but, instead, a reassurance of their love.
You see I have been married for over 50 years to my high school sweetheart and the above pretty much outlines what it takes from both parties to make it last beautifully. I might add that I hope that when Castle and Beckett start working together on the case that progress picks up rapidly so that the farce only lasts 2 or 3 episodes and that the fans are kept in the loop on the case and not in the dark as before. One final thing – feelings have been expressed by both parties regarding the “split” and they have made up and promised to make their marriage work. Now drop it and do not bring the “split” up again.
