Captain America: Civil War, Who’s Fighting Who Exactly?

The upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” is going to introduce quite a lot of drama in the Marvel cinematic universe, and various well-known characters are going to come up against each other in some pretty intense scenes. Fans are very eager to see the new film, and the producers behind the project seem very excited to be working on it too (as is everyone else attached to this film, from what we can tell). However, the huge separation of characters has led to some confusion in the community of fans.

Some have been left wondering who’s going to be on each side of the epic battle, and while there has been some significant arguing back and forth on this topic, we’ve seen some promotional materials for the upcoming film that have shed some light on the situation. Right now, the picture seems more or less clear, and it’s not that hard to draw up a chart of each team and their connections to each other.

But what remains a bigger mystery to most fans of Marvel’s heroes is the reason for some of those alliances – and rivalries, accordingly. For example, Black Widow choosing to ally with Iron Man has been questioned a lot as a move by the writers, as many expected her to stand next to Captain America. This was strongly implied by previous developments in films in the franchise, and fans are indeed quite confused over the direction the plot has taken with her character.

Some characters are also the subject of heavy speculation, such as Spider-Man. Whose side is he going to take, and what are his motivations in this battle? The character has been absent from promotional materials for the upcoming film and this has made it pretty hard for fans to figure out what the directors might be planning for him.

And while those questions will likely remain unresolved for some time – possibly even until the film comes out – some critics have been analyzing the upcoming production from different angles, claiming that it might actually do some harm to the Marvel cinematic universe, and urging the producers to very carefully assess what they want to do with the film.

For example, some of the decisions that Captain America will reportedly make in “Captain America: Civil War” have been described as somewhat out of character for him, especially for the film side of his personality which has been explored in detail. We know the character to have certain personality traits that set him apart from everyone else, and the character’s decision to immediately start attacking those who go against his word has been seen as quite questionable by those who’re more familiar with him.

On the other hand, the way the whole “Superhuman Registration Act” is going to be handled in the plot has also raised some concerns among the fan community, as people are convinced that there must have been a more elegant solution to the troubling situation, and this kind of approach doesn’t really speak well for the kind of Captain America that we know.

Going further, one critic has taken a look at even more characters involved in the new film, claiming that they all have some peculiar details about their behavior which fall very out of line with what we generally know about them. Iron Man is being analyzed under a microscope by some of his fans, with some people questioning why he would subject himself to a configuration that leaves him with so little control over his own decisions.
