The recent release of “Batman v Superman” drew even more attention to “Captain America”, somewhat unexpectedly for some fans. There have been lots of discussions about how the former film was handled and what could have been done better, and the genre closeness of the two productions has led many fans to draw comparisons between them.
There were some obvious mistakes in the general direction of “Batman v Superman” – at least according to some critics – and while it would be impossible to correct anything in the plot/style of “Captain America: Civil War” at this point, hopefully the producers were at least following the development of the other film closely and have been keeping an eye on people’s responses to it.
The superhero genre has become a bit overcrowded in recent years, according to some fans, and this huge competition between the major studios has been seen as slightly detrimental to the genre in the eyes of some.
On one hand, it’s good that we’re seeing so many of our favorite superheroes and the stories related to them presented on the big screen in such great quality, but on the other hand the desire to come out on top has been hurting the production value to some extent. The producers should hopefully focus on delivering the best quality that they can even if it costs them some of the production time. After all, fans will always be ready to see more of the iconic superheroes on the screen.
