Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PS4 Updated with Balance and Visual Tweaks!

Something else that has been bothering players recently is the possibility of an eventual platform split, if updates are not delivered simultaneously across the board in the future. This has been a major issue with other franchises in the past, so hopefully Treyarch won’t make the same mistake.

We don’t know how much longer Treyarch are going to support the game as well, as the next “Call of Duty” is right around the corner. Even though they’re not the developers behind that game, the studio will still be limited by the budget assigned to them by Activision.

Which, at that point, will surely be redirected almost entirely towards “Infinite Warfare”. The game has been met with some mixed reactions so far, and we don’t know how well it will perform once it launches. But Activision are most certainly not going to let the hype die down by decreasing their budget.

This is the typical case with the “Call of Duty” franchise, and players have come to accept the fact that they have to re-buy the game every year if they want to stay in touch with the current trends. The system seems to work quite nicely for Activision themselves too, as even “Black Ops 3” still saw significant sales figures, proving that there is still a lot of interest in the franchise from its fans.
