Bryce Dallas Howard Was a Fan of Jurassic Park Her Whole Life before Working on Jurassic World!

“Jurassic World” is shaping up very nicely, and it’s likely going to be one of the most major releases of this season, attracting a lot of attention from film fans, especially fans of the “Jurassic” franchise specifically. And some of those fans were lucky enough to actually get a job working on “Jurassic World” itself, such as Bryce Dallas Howard who recently revealed that she has actually been a huge fan of “Jurassic Park” her whole life before joining the cast of the new film.

And obviously, her current job is something she has been dreaming of for a long time, and we can only imagine how much she enjoys taking part in the very franchise that she has been enjoying for so long. She did admit that this job was like a dream come true for her, and she remembers how she wanted to see the original film back in 1993 when she was just a little girl.

Her parents didn’t let her go see it back then though, as she was only 12 years old and the film was rated PG-13. However, after they saw it themselves, her father quickly changed his mind upon realizing the magnitude of the film’s importance, and he went back to Howard to tell her that she has to see the film herself, which she did during the weekend.

The actress shed a little light on the current production, revealing that every other scene feels like a reference to the old films, and this has been making her particularly excited and happy to be on the set, as it’s like reliving her childhood for her at the moment. Still, the part that gets her most excited are still the frightening moments of the new film, and there are apparently plenty of those.

She explained that even though she had read the whole script and acted in it herself, seeing the film for the first time was actually a very frightening experience that made her see the film in a new light and helped her truly respect the work she had done together with the rest of the crew.

However, she did admit that she still finds the original “Jurassic Park” scarier, and she will likely never be as scared by a film as she was by it. We don’t know if that’s any indication of the actual quality of the horror in “Jurassic World” or just her nostalgia in action, but we certainly hope that the new film isn’t lacking in sufficiently frightening horror scenes.
