‘Bones’ Season 11 Episode 15 to See Booth and Brennan Investigate a Fixer’s Death; Producers Get Ready for Show’s 12th and Final Season

The FBI will investigate the death of a fixer in the upcoming episode of “Bones.”

Fox has supplied the synopsis for episode 15, entitled “The Fight in the Fixer,” and it states that the team will investigate the body of a private investigator who was found frozen in ice after he was dumped in the Potomac. The victim apparently has a number of enemies since he was a fixer.

A sneak peek video clip for the May 12 episode also shows Emily Deschanel’s Brennan and David Boreanaz’ Booth will get Christine’s first report card. The clip shows that their daughter gets an E for exemplary in all subjects.

Also, John Boyd’s James Aubrey will learn some information tied to his father’s whereabouts. In between his emotions upon finding out about the information, criminal behaviorist Karen Delfs, played by Sara Rue, will ask him out on a date.

The episode will also see Michaela Conlin’s Angela and TJ Thynes’ Hodgins continue to make their rocky marriage work.

In the last episode, a female felon, who was a former crack dealer, was found during a mudslide and Booth discovered that one of the suspects was someone he met in prison.

Aubrey thought Booth’s a little too close to the situation when the special agent insists that the felon’s daughter has to be crossed off the suspect list.

In the end, it was revealed that the head of the halfway house was the one who murdered the woman.

Brennan attended a hearing after punching a suspect from a few episodes back and received six months of probation with her husband as her probation officer.

Things were still not going well for Angela and Hodgins as their attempt to repair their marriage was fractured with the fact that Angela uttered Sebastian’s name in her sleep with Hodgins hearing it.

The crime procedural series has been renewed for a 12th and final season. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Michael Peterson says that the producers and writers are already preparing for the final season.

Peterson adds that Season 11 will be part of what fans will expect in the next season. The showrunner says that an episode in Season 11 introduces the main villain for the 12th season.

During episode 13, entitled “The Monster in the Closet,” fans were already clued in when the Jeffersonian investigated a decomposing body and found out that its killer kept and toyed with it for months before dumping it.

Fans said that the new killer is creepy and that they cannot wait what the new villain has in store for the Jeffersonian team on its last season.

The team then unearthed more bodies with the same characteristics and then decided to launch a hunt to find the culprit.

It was later confirmed that the new main villain, which happens to be a serial killer, will be introduced during the Season 11 finale in the episode entitled “The Nightmare within the Nightmare” to air on July 21. This killer’s story will carry on Season 12.

TV Guide reports that the “Bones” team will track this dangerous new serial killer, but in the process will render them significant differences.

This will then spin the show’s theme to a different path, says Peterson. He adds that the 12th season will have less thriller and more horror element that it was with Pelant’s story arc. The new villain will represent a different kind of danger, the executive producer says.

Peterson did not give away too many details about the new antagonist, but he did tease fans that this big bad is definitely terrifying than Andrew Leeds’ Christopher Pelant who appeared in the show’s seventh season.
