“Blue Bloods” season finale, entitled “Blowback” will see Frank, the Mayor, Erin and the DA’s office contend with public outrage after a grand jury does not indict an NYPD officer for the controversial shooting of a teenager that was caught on video.
David Ramsay will make an appearance in the season finale as Mayor Carter Poole. CarterMatt notes that when it comes to Ramsay, the producers always find a way to work a little magic with the actor’s busy schedule.
Despite Ramsay appearing on The CW’s “Arrow” and his regular guesting stint on its spin-off “The Flash,” he still found a way to make an appearance on the police drama this season.
The 44-year-old actor has been a recurring guest star on the show since 2011 playing Mayor Poole. In total, he has appeared in 17 episodes throughout “Blue Bloods” six-year run.
The season finale will also see Danny and Baez team up once again and go on a two-person manhunt for a suspect who shot a police officer in what seems like an act of retaliation.
The season finale is expected to air on May 6. The show has been renewed for a seventh season with CBS announcing the renewal last month along with a slew of other programs.
