Big Hero 7 Most Probably Happening, might See Tadashi Returning as Sunfire!

The story of “Big Hero 6” was focused largely around the death of Tadashi, and it was a very important element of the overall plot. And while fans saw it happening and there were no apparent prospects for the character to come back, it would appear that there are plans for his return in the film’s sequel. Which, at this point, has been nearly confirmed officially, although we still don’t know any real details about the film.

Fans and the media are currently referring to it as “Big Hero 7”, but we have no idea if that will be its actual name. Stan Lee previously gave some hints that he has plans for a sequel to “Big Hero 6”, and he apparently wanted to finish the production of “Ant-Man” first before starting on that project. In addition, he has to work on “Doctor Strange”, “The Black Panther”, and several other productions, and only then he’ll be able to devote his attention to “Big Hero 6”.

Other names that were mentioned by Stan Lee included “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” and “Captain America” and we don’t know how he’s planning to organize his time in order to fit all of those projects in his schedule, but we’re certainly hoping that he’ll be able to start working on the next “Big Hero” film soon.

The most prominent rumor so far claims that Disney are planning to start their work on “Big Hero 7” after “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” is finished, which, according to some critics, could indicate a possible 2018 release date for the new film. That would place it four years after “Big Hero 6”, which is a reasonable timeframe for releasing a sequel to something of this magnitude.

Of course, most of this is just predictions and rumors so far, and it’s still under question whether the film’s production will begin in time to have it ready for 2018. Baymax has also been hinting at a possible sequel, for what it’s worth, as he was recently “interviewed” by USA Today, and claimed that he’s always looking to upgrade.

But the main mystery remains around the death of Tadashi and his eventual return. Are we going to see the character resurrected in “Big Hero 7”, and in what form? There have been rumors that while he’s coming back, he will not have quite the same personality, and we might have to get used to something new.

That has had fans both excited as well as questioning, and there have been some active discussions about the possible sequel on various online messaging boards lately. It’s clear that many people would be happy to see a “Big Hero 7” (or whatever its name is going to be), and it doesn’t seem like fans of the first movie want Disney to rush its sequel in any way.

Which is good, because Disney is definitely not a studio that rushes their projects, and whenever we get to see “Big Hero 7”, it’s going to be released after a long run of polishing and improving its finer details. We have no doubt that Disney have something big planned for the sequel, as the studio has a tendency to utilize the potential of their sequels to its fullest.

So far though, the studio has been quiet on that particular issue, as they have been focusing elsewhere. We don’t know if Disney are going to say something about “Big Hero 7” soon, but if they do have such plans, we’re probably going to hear some rumors about that in advance.

  1. I believe it should be called Big Hero 6.2 or 2 Big Hero 6, or Big Hero 6 with a subtitle.
It’s called Big Hero 6 because there’s 6 of them, why would they call it Big Hero 7
