Previous Bethesda games like “The Elder Scrolls 3” and “The Elder Scrolls 4” were rolled out faster by the developer because it used familiar game engines called Morrowind and Oblivion. “Fallout 3” also used the same game engine which also allowed it a quick rollout.
As early as 2011, Bethesda has already hinted that it will be using an updated version of the Creation Engine through an interview made on Pete Hines, the company vice president for PR.
Hines said then that Bethesda will be taking advantage of whatever new developments or technology that Creation Engine will have for Skyrim.
The Creation Engine may provide an expansive and vast world for “Fallout 4” alright, but the game engine’s graphics for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 may fall below gamers’ expectations.
